The underarm peel uses two kinds of exfoliating acid. Alpha hydroxy acids (glycolic and lactic) work on the surface to brighten shadowy discoloration and soften rough, bumpy skin. Beta hydroxy acid (salicylic) works inside the hair follicles to clear trapped oil and help prevent ingrown hairs.
It's designed for darkness caused by shaving, friction, deodorant build-up or old irritation. Lowering the skin's pH can also help underarms stay fresher for longer.
